The pint mason jar is one of the most versatile containers we carry. Beekeepers use it to bottle honey, home canners use it for preserves and pickles, and customers buy it for gifts. The smooth sides take a label cleanly, and the clear glass lets the honey color do the talking. It's a classic shape that needs no explanation on a market table.
Each jar fits a 70mm continuous thread canning lid (sold separately). Available as a single jar, case of 12, or full pallet of 2,520.
Note on glass shipping: Glass jars can be picked up at our Birmingham store or shipped via ground or freight. Shipping glass is at your own risk — we're not responsible for breakage in transit, but additional shipping insurance is available at checkout.
This is a 1 pint (16 fl oz) jar. Because honey is denser than water, it holds approximately 24 oz by weight (680 grams) — about 2 cups of honey. That's why this jar is often described as a "1.5 lb honey jar" at the market.
We built a free honey jar calculator that figures it out for you. Enter how much honey you have, pick your jar sizes, and it gives you a shopping list. It handles multiple sizes at once.
